The Accountability Assessment assesses the mindset of accountability within an organization to pin-point the challenges each individual faces.
Accountability Assessment data and experience provides us with a validated instrument that is necessary when helping our clients build an organization that will experience trust and mutual respect; people talking to, not about each other; clear roles; clear goals; clear expectations; knowing what tools, resources or conditions it needs to thrive; has sustained profitability; and employees are accountable for outcomes. Improvement in these dynamics will enable the organization to achieve its ultimate purpose and objectives.
As leaders demonstrate high levels of personal responsibility and accountability — and consistently hold others accountable (not through blame, fault, and guilt — but through clear agreements) the culture will shift. That shift will only happen as leaders at all levels realize that “they are the culture” — and demonstrate the desired values. If there are leaders who are not demonstrating the desired values — they must clearly understand the consequences of their behavior. It becomes their choice to either live the values of the organization or find somewhere to work where they can behave the way they want. As this level of ownership for the culture is then embraced by employees, the erosive blame will diminish and all employees will begin to decide to live and be the culture they desire from others.
